'Come into my Life' Installation, exhibited at Hortensia Gallery Chelsea, showing the rear view of the Monumental Alien Totem Pole
The etherial installation features a controlling Magnetic Alien Totem Pole, which draws other creatures to it. But upon reaching their goal, the sheep are captured and become merely one of the poles lowest creatures. The Orange Widow has somehow escaped, but at a cost. She remains in the depths of despair..
See the Orange version under 'Cat Portraits' along with last year's star Exhibit: 'Egyptian Cat Totempole'
The Egyptian Cat Totempole, (top left, next to the artist ) remains the most sought -after of all the pieces. Photographed by David Vassie, for the Show Catalogue, enjoy it full length under 'Sculptures etc.'
'Fishman' - perhaps symbolises the ideal union - far from reality...
Mankind needs to work with Sealife in a less selfish, more sustainable way.. In Panang, Malaysia the sparkling sea remains empty of swimmers, as Giant Jellyfish grow and multiply beyond belief!
Swordfish and Tuna are eaten by humans to such an extent there, that with few preditors or competitors the Jellyfish take over. So a sting, which is likely, can often be fatal.
